Together with our employees, we have been able to do just that.\u00a0 FGR is affordable, reliable and prompt with your fabrication and welding needs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Gene Reutzel grew up traveling with his dad, grandfather and uncles.\u00a0 All worked on pipelines all over the country.\u00a0 Gene had a hands on education about welding, fabrication, plumbing and the concept of hard work.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-163 alignleft\" alt=\"006\" src=\"http:\/\/fgrmechanical.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/006-300x246.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"246\" srcset=\"http:\/\/fgrmechanical.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/006-300x246.jpg 300w, http:\/\/fgrmechanical.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/006.jpg 758w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>After many years working in the pipeline industry and the oil fields in Oklahoma, Gene and his wife\u00a0Linda decided it was time to venture into small business ownership.\u00a0 FGR Mechanical was started in 1994 with three full time employees and a job trailer on the customer\u2019s parking lot, and the desire to provide a service to customers at a fair price.\u00a0 While primarily working as the inside contractor for Dana Corporation, FGR branched out into service work for various businesses in the Cape Girardeau area. With work increasing, FGR purchased a 5000 square foot shop building in 1997.
